Formalin-free fixation and xylene-free processing
Formaldehyde and xylene are still used every day to fix and clear tissue. FIXUP® Solution is a formalin-free fixative that delivers H&E, IHC and DNA test results equivalent to or better than 10% NBF, with launch scheduled for 2027. XUP™ and XUP™ Mount replace xylene in clearing and coverslipping.
